Family, BJJ, Travel: End Of The Year EuroTrip Recap
I have just returned from a month long whirlwind European adventure that spanned France, Switzerland, and Germany. I was able to visit 10 cities during my trip. This trip was different for a couple of reasons. First and foremost, it was different because I was traveling with my mom and my brother (My mom and I dropped my brother off in Geneva where he is working for the UN this semester). The second reason this trip was different was because I usually do not have all of my travels planned ahead of time, but since my Mom prefers to have everything figured out, I rolled with it (no jiu-jitsu pun intended ;)). Finally, this trip was different because it was my first experience traveling and doing jiu-jitsu. (Big shout out to BJJ Globetrotters for making it so easy to do this!). Overall, this trip was amazing and I got to explore more of central and southern France, which I have been wanting to for some time, and of course, got to go back to Berlin! Below is a list of my favorite cities, least favorite cities, and favorite gyms that I trained at during the trip. I’ll be doing more in depth analysis in the next month on why I enjoyed or didn’t enjoy certain cities. Enjoy!

It was hard to pick favorites when it came to gyms because every gym I went to was incredibly friendly and welcoming, but I picked the gyms that I felt I connected with some of the members and had the best training. Be sure to be on the lookout for deep dives into some of these gyms and cities. As always I will be bringing travel and fitness together.
